Due to the overwhelming amounts of spam on the net these days, LaneChange.net has changed its backup email server service model. We now monitor smtp servers of all backup email customers and our servers will only accept email when a clients server is down. We have also implemented heuristic mail filtering, spam scanning and tagging and updated our proprietary black listing algorithms, which can auto-black list abusive hosts.
June 2003
LaneChange.net launches its own in-house web, ftp and email hosting services. Based on the world renowed Plesk control panel, this new service offering is designed to improve on our former resold hosting service, with more options, improved support and greater quality control that only comes with an in-house solutions.
December 2002
LaneChange.net relocates dns server ns2.lanechange.net as well as our main web and database servers to the Ottawa Data Center of Group Telecom. This world class hosting facility, with vast international fiber optic network and unique peering arrangements, combined with their pending merger with 360Networks solidifies our commitment to provide clients with the most robust solutions on the market today.
September 2002
LaneChange.net relocates its third name server, ns3.lanechange.net, from Ottawa to Kansas City, Missouri, providing a completely dispersed DNS network of servers located across North America. We now have servers located in the northeast, midwest and on the west coast.
May 2002
LaneChange.net launches its third data center presence in Vancouver, British Columbia forming our first, truly geographically dispersed DNS network.
February 2002
LaneChange.net launches our long awaited automated, self serve DNS Manager solution.

LaneChange.net launches our second data center presence in Ottawa for greater redundancy.
December 2000
LaneChange.net officially launches as a domain name registrar, web & dns hosting and e-mail & URL forwarding solutions provider for individuals and small to medium size business.
Prior to our official name and company launch, founder and current president Robert Schwartz, spent over 10 years in high tech working in software R & D for such companies as Corel Corporation and SureFire Commerce. Mr. Schwartz also provided consulting services to small and medium size companies and individuals, successfully integrating internet technologies into brick and mortar companies.
